Inspired by the landscapes, heritage and traditions of Portugal’s Alentejo region, this collection forms part of Alentejo – Light, Land & Legacy, an exhibition presented at the Biblioteca Municipal de Reguengos de Monsaraz, Portugal, from June to July 2026.
Each artwork begins as an original photograph captured by Alexandra Adams and is then creatively reimagined through a contemporary digital art process that develops colour, texture, light and atmosphere while preserving the spirit of the original scene.
